Our goal is to demonstrate diligence and reliability through community outreach. The efforts of our organizers formed bridges in Jackson with the aim of deterring criminality. In partnership with Jackson Strength Network, Safe & Just Michigan, Chapter 1013 of the NLA, and several others, we shared a message of legitimacy amongst the youth and families present.
Given the generosity of The Charles Newell Investment Group, LLC, Justin Counts, of the Community Action Agency, was able to host a wonderful event. Such actions are necessary in order to improve the safety of Michigan's neighborhoods.
Jackson's Chief of Police, stopped by to show his support for a great message. These are the connections and relationships which the POP 1st team values.
In partnership with Denise Bonds of the Apathetic Voters Bolc we organized at Martin Luther King High School on October 11, 2025. During this event we educated citizens concerning their power as a collective and spread an energy which ignited a desire to become more involved in the legislative process.
The crowd gathered in support of oneness while listening to the address of Mayoral Candidate Solomon Kinloch. Rather than blindly casting ballots we demonstrated that through unity the people have an ability to influence candidates to actually represent our interest when running for office. With the presence of Chief Editor Diane Bukowski from Voice of Detroit both the press and citizens together spoke volumes concerning issues that most effect them.
